Sweat 70 & NaNoWriMo

I’m trying to do two different writing challenges simultaneously. Luckily, my word count will count for both, so I don’t have to write double! lol. NaNoWriMo starts today. This’ll be my 3rd year doing it, though I’m not intending to write a new novel this time. Rather, I’m going to use the goal of writing 50,000 words to finish up some things I’m on the hook for with various publishers. It’s about time I got those things done and out the door.
Speaking of which, yesterday, I spent the majority of the day finishing up the edits from hell and sent them in last night. Whew! Glad that’s done for now. I’m sure Round 2 of edits on that book will be even more annoying, but for now I’m in the clear. Today, I have to finish proofing my December short story release, Solstice Dreams. That shouldn’t take too long, then I’ll be working on the blurb for my February release and then, I’ll be working on finishing up a manuscript I have waiting. Busy day, but I’m actually looking forward to getting in there and getting to it! Wish me luck!
Oh, and if you’re near the Garden State Mall in Paramus, NJ, this Saturday, please drop in and see us! We’re doing a panel discussion, then signing books at the Borders there.
