Challenge Check-In #2

Woops! Sorry – a little late with the Check In post today. It’s been that kind of week. ;-)

I’ve done much better this week than I did last. I got hit with edits and a galley proof, but I still managed to write 5 out of the 7 days and surpassed my 2,000 words/day goal twice. That’s way better than I expected with so much going on.

How did you all do?

  1. I’m happy to report that Audra and I finished the revisions we were working on and have sent them to the editor.

    ooh and we have 4k on the book we need to finish for TEB by April. Since we are targeting about 28-30k I would say we are off to a good start.

  3. Well, I’m working on it. I’m further along with my goals…word counts are progressing and I’ve added a few new goals to the long list I started out with.

    I am turning in the valentine free read tonight, and I’ll be submitting two other stories at the end of the month.

    I’ve learned some things I needed to learn as far as technical and creative prospects, so, I think I’m doing fairly well and have been keeping to my schedule…

  4. I haven’t kept up. :( I got sick and have been busy with other things. I’m hoping to do a lot of writing this weekend. We’ll see how that goes.

  5. Hmmm Let’s see I’m 2,236 words further ahead than I was the last time I checked in. (LOL not hard seeing I was at 0 that day.)

    I was doing awesome until the 12th then I stopped typing and started writing on paper cause Im still at work and had precious little time free.

    And when I get out I need to go home for a post funeral, (I missed the fumeral due to getting the email too late)

    So January is looking like a bust.

  6. Well, writing goal has nearly gone down the tubes. I have had edits all month, and trying to finish up ONE scene for one of my EC books. Ugh, do you know those 3,000 words have taken me WEEKS? Or at least it seems like that. But going better the last couple days. (but those don’t count since I am a couple days late for check in. these will have to be for next weeks :) )
    Exercise goal? Sooo not even existing. Hubby and I have both been sick on and off, so maybe eventually :)
