Well, I ended up going to my usual salon. I had toyed with the idea of going someplace new but ended up at my local place. Luckily for me, my old guy was available. (Last time I went there, I got a new girl - she of the long, limp hair.) My guy, Paul, does a really good job. I gave him free rein and he cut off about 3-4 inches of length and gave me nice long layers. He could have gone even shorter, but I don't think he wanted to shock me too much. ;-) All in all, I'm satisfied. It looks pretty good, though next time I might go an inch or two shorter, just for fun. My faith is restored in the salon - as long as I go to Paul and don't ever get that girl again. :D LOL!
