Best Sellers & Discounts

I’m Loving the response to the print compilation BROTHERHOOD OF BLOOD. It actually registered on the Amazon Genre Best Seller List yesterday. It was at:
| #73 in | Books > Literature & Fiction > Genre Fiction > Horror > United States |
Not so sure how they figure the categories, but it’s flattering to be on the list in a category that seems to include folks like Charlaine Harris, my friend Jacki Frank, Stephen King and the like. Cool, huh? If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, you can pick it up at Amazon for 32% off the cover price.
If you already have it – and liked it – please do me a big favor and write a review for it on Amazon if you can. I only ask because there are just 2 reviews up there right now – both from people who didn’t really like the book.
I’d love to have something positive to balance the negativity if at all possible. So if you feel moved to do so, I’d LOVE to have a review or two from people who actually liked the book up there at some point. Thanks in advance, if you are able to help out.

More news: FictionWise seems to have picked up a lot of my older books again. I got an alert yesterday saying they now had all four of the first Dragon Knights books available again, as well as LORDS OF THE WERE and FOREVER VALENTINE. Because they’re “new” (on FictionWise at least), they’re on sale for 15% off. So here’s your chance if you haven’t read those already, you can pick them up at a discount.
Oh, and while we’re talking about FictionWise, let me thank all who made both CAT’S CRADLE and TAG TEAM Best Sellers on FictionWise. Thanks, guys!!!

As soon as I can get a copy I will happily post a comment on Amazon that is positive because I know that anything you write is what I will enjoy. Heck you could write on loo paper and I would enjoy it. Weird? Yeah but that’s just me.

I’ve recently read all your stories in the vampire series (and absolutely adored them) but the one I’ve just finished “Sweeter Than Wine” has a character that intigues me, Matt Redstone, and I was wondering if you have any intention of telling his story? It’s been some time since this one was written so I’m not sure you do but here’s hoping… regardless, they were all wonderful and I enjoyed them immensely.

Hi Aimee – Thanks for asking. Matt Redstone is definitely a character I want to explore more in the future. My writing schedule has gotten a bit out of whack for 2 main reasons – last June, I got a big contract to write the zombie series for Brava, and then in August, my Mom got sick and I dropped everything to take care of her. She died 2 days before Christmas, which has thrown my sad little life into chaos and my writing has suffered. I have to finish two more novels on the Brava contract before I can get back to the different series I’ve got going with Samhain Publishing. Matt is actually the youngest of a set of brothers for whom I’ve already started writing a series of books. I’m not sure where Matt’s story will come in, but I definitely have plans for the Redstones. It may take me a while to get to them, but they’re definitely on the radar. Thanks again for asking and I’m so glad you’re enjoying my books!

Oh, I am so sorry about your mom! I can only imagine how that has effected you! I’ve only just discovered your books last week when I was browsing through Samhain’s site looking for something to read. I started with your new one about Cade and El (loved it) and then moved on to your three vampire stories mentioned here (loved those too) followed by your were series (ditto–Dante… sigh) before I realized you also had Ian and Sebastian’s stories (and again, ditto) as well so I’ve just finished those two and managed to become enamored with Matt in the process (then again, between Dante and Ian and Sebastian and Marc and Atticus and Cade and Duncan (yes, him too) and Tim and Rafe I’ve become enamored many times over) so I was curious what your intentions were where he’s concerned
It’s lovely to hear you have plans for him in the future

Aimee – Wow! I love hearing how people find my books. Thanks for sharing that. I’m thrilled that you liked the most recent book enough to seek out others and I hope you’ll continue to enjoy my books!
