Getting Ready for the Hurricane…
August 26, 2011 on 2:26 pm | In Life | 2 CommentsI’ve spent the past few days battening down the hatches in my backyard. I’ve moved almost everything off my back deck and have a strategy in place for what to do with my prized tomato plants. Luckily, I planted them in pots this year and will be able to move them into the garage for the duration of the really bad weather.
With any luck, this will be much ado about nothing. I’ve been through a few hurricanes before in this house and I think it’ll be okay, even though everyone around me is a bit hysterical at this point. Let’s all keep thinking good thoughts and praying it moves a bit more out to sea so everyone inland is spared the highest of the winds.

Hey Bianca! SO glad it was “much ado about nothing” but like you, I prepared for hurricane Katrina. lol! Hope you didn’t get much damage in your neck of the woods

Not too much damage. Lots of downed trees in my neighborhood, but we were lucky. Thanks for asking!
