Monthly Recap: January was a busy month! THE JAGUAR BODYGUARD released, but I also managed to finish writing both MIDNIGHT KISS (a novel) and a novella titled PHOENIX RISING that should be out in late May. (More news on that as it becomes available.)
We also started a preorder for MIDNIGHT KISS (releasing 2/13) and also have LOADED FOR BEAR (releasing 3/20) on preorder right now. I completed edits on MIDNIGHT KISS and it's all ready to go for release. Edits on LOADED FOR BEAR are in progress.
So, I've been BUSY this past month!!! And I didn't even mention yet that I started writing my next book. That project will continue well into February and depending on how that goes, I'll decide when it'll be released. Stay tuned for that decision sometime next month. Here's to a great February!
Return to Grizzly Cove! Preorder LOADED FOR BEAR - releasing on 3/20.
Mellie Ricoletti has been trying - and failing - to brew just the right potion to do her part to protect her new home of Grizzly Cove. She's got the right recipe now, after months of searching, but it calls for an ingredient she has no idea how to find: dragon's blood. Is it a metaphor? Is it a joke? Dragons don't really exist, do they?
Peter Zilakov is a bear shifter with a secret in his lineage. He is perhaps the one person in Grizzly Cove who knows that, at least at one time, dragons were real. Calling on his heritage for answers, he tries to help Mellie solve her riddle - not just because it's the right thing to do, but because he finds he would give just about anything to the pretty witch...including his heart.

The were-fey trilogy will be complete when MIDNIGHT KISS releases on February 13th. We started with Josh's search for what he was and the surprising answer in LONE WOLF, then reunited his parents in SNOW MAGIC, and now we're going to put an end to the bad guy who separated them in the first place and caused so much grief in MIDNIGHT KISS.
The first love story was for Josh & Deena, the second was the reunion of Josh's parents, Ray & Evie. This last installment is the love story of Josh's cousin Margo and Deena's brother, Gabe. This trilogy dovetails with the rest of the Tales of the Were, and we'll see cameo appearances of familiar characters. In fact, Margo works for Collin Hastings, the famous shifter private detective, and he shows up for a bit of her book. We'll also see the bounty hunter, Ezra Tate, make and appearance in this last book of the were-fey trilogy. (We first met him in Badass Bear in Grizzly Cove.) Hope you guys like it! :)
I had such grand plans last year... I had a new lease on life when I wrote that last post, but it took a long time to recover from the surgery. Sitting up in a chair to type was a long time coming, and somehow I never quite got back to the blog.
With the changes in social media making it ever harder for little fish like me to get my message out, I've decided to start blogging again in earnest. I hope you'll come with me on this journey. I have some big experiments planned in the coming weeks including new books, new media presences and new projects. Stay tuned... And as always, thanks for reading! :)
